Butterford stops by the Enchancian castle when a grand ball is going on, surprising Sofia and Cedric with an invitation to his upcoming wedding to Muscles. When he's invited to stay, he catches the eye of a young prince who has no idea of Butterford's identity, leading to some interesting moments.

Sofia has been distant for several days for some reason, and even Cedric can't snap her out of her daze. He calls on her Guardian to step in and try to reach her in a way he can't right now. (Takes place a year after "The Tainted Ten")
There is a beauty in the idea of tomorrow. It's like a promise that there is something better beyond what can be seen. And for Cedric and Sofia, tomorrow begins today. (Takes place after Chapter 17 of The Tainted Ten)
*Takes place during chapter 5 of Elemental Outpour* After Sofia loses her voice from Zarova's terrible curse, Cedric desperately works around the clock to find a solution to the problem. Meanwhile, Sofia finds herself growing distant and decides to take matters into her own hands.
A group known as the Tainted Ten infiltrates the Mystic Isles and starts wreaking havoc that Cedric, Sofia, and several others have to put a stop to. However, it won't be easy, especially when it is revealed that the leader of the group has a personal vendetta against none other than Sofia herself. (Three years post season 5 stories. When Sofia hears that Butterford is by himself due to Muscles and the other pirates going on a mission, she invites him to go with her and Cedric to a bazaar. There, an oracle issues a warning to them about Sofia, worrying the couple. However, Butterford is suspicious of the prophecy and intends to get to the bottom of things to help his dear friends.
Cedric is feeling a bit anxious after he receives a poor health report from the medic, since he collapsed during a meeting with Roland and other royal leaders and royal sorcerers. To help keep him calm and get him to rest, Sofia works her own magic on him.
On Cedric's birthday, Sofia takes him to a secluded location to celebrate. After all, there are so many new things to celebrate with the turn of the New Year, and she can't wait to share each new thing with him.
During a trip to the Mystic Isles to visit Chrysta and the other Protectors, Cedric and Sofia run into Butterford, who seems to be having a really hard time with something neither he nor the couple could have expected.
On Wassailia Eve, after the children are all asleep, Cedric confesses to Sofia that he hasn't gotten her a gift this year due to all the chaos. Sofia echoes the comment, assuring him that she has all she needs. Wanting to adhere to some form of tradition anyway, Cedric gives Sofia a different kind of gift: one delicately planned and best unwrapped behind closed doors. (Post Segue)
On their wedding night, Cedric and Sofia finally share the most beautiful and intimate experience they have only ever dreamed of, and two finally become one at last.

Somehow Cedric's spell he's been practicing accidentally sends him and Sofia into the past. Now all Cedric has to worry about is making sure Sofia doesn't find out about "certain incidents" regarding him and his original attempts to obtain her amulet. (Also, ignore my in-story description. This IS going to be a multi-chapter! Gasp. lol)
