Draco has recently been released from Azkaban but suffers from crippling PTSD. He is committed to St. Mungo's where he is tended by a nurse named Astoria. When Draco hires Astoria to be his private nurse in his home, she agrees. While each harbors a secret passion for each other, they also have secrets which make them feel unworthy of love. Still, love perseveres.

Astoria and Draco finally give into the temptation that's been taunting them since their arrival at the Highland manor. (This is part 3 of many. Look out for the next three chapters!)

Draco suffers from post-traumatic flashback, falls into the grip of madness, and is saved by Astoria at the last moment. Meanwhile, sexual tensions escalate between them, though each feels they do not deserve the other. Then, Astoria receives some bad news that changes her perspective on life.

Following the aftermath of the Battle of Hogwarts, Draco Malfoy is sentenced to 6 months in prison and comes out with severe PTSD. After being admitted to St. Mungo's, Draco meets a nurse, Astoria Greengrass — a mysterious woman with hidden secrets of her own. Draco convinces Astoria to accompany him as his nurse to Scotland for the rest of his recovery. There, romance ensues.
