  • The Rules

Or "What Nostradamus Knows." Nostradamus knows many things. But this...Even he couldn't have foreseen it. And now he can't stop it. These are the things Nostradamus knows. (A character study-type one-chapter. Rated T just in case. Nothing too impressive.)

  • Sweet Baby James

Francis is left alone in the middle of the night/early morning with his incredibly loud, definitely-not-sleeping son. And Mary isn't around to help him with baby-shushing. He doesn't remember signing up for this. A modern AU one-chapter. (Slight, implied Frary).

  • Build Me Up Buttercup

Sometimes Romeo and Juliet aren't the only ones who have a Great Love Story. Sometimes four-year-olds have them, too. A modern AU Frary preschool fic.

  • The Lion and the Hound

If the dog hadn't run off, things would be different. (A filler one-chapter centered around Bash's relationship with Stirling, Mary's deerhound. Takes place during the pilot.)

  • The New Roommate

A modern AU in which Francis and Bash are looking for a new roommate because they can't pay the rent by themselves. Written purely for fun. (Rated T for Bash's potty mouth.)

  • A Brother's Bet

Bash and Francis make a bet on the attractiveness of a grown up Mary Stuart before they see her. Francis tries to steel himself against Mary even before she arrives (which, as we all know, works out *brilliantly*). Frash and a bit of Frary.

  • The Things That Matter Most

Her control is slipping. Everything is slipping. Her grasp on the world is sliding through her fingers as his body loses warmth. He is her tether, her safety net. He is the one thing that made everything bearable, regardless of his stupid decisions, his flash-temper, his need to be right in everything.

  • Birthday Wishes

It's Mary's seventh birthday, and, like any seven year old, she's anxious to receive her presents, especially from a certain blond prince. Francis is anxious to give her his present, if only to shut her up. Just some kid Frary fluff (ugh, that's like my favorite. They were so cute).
