Hormones run high at Albus Severus Potter's 17th birthday party. Some people are happier about that than others.

He was tall, so she had to look up toward his face, which was easily 7 inches above her own. When her eyes reached his face they were met with grey ones. His lips pulled up into a small smile as he looked down at the pink-tinged-cheeked Weasley.

A song later, Lorcan was screaming along to the lyrics of a long-since-popular Weird Sisters song. Two songs after that, he and Lily were dancing together, ignoring the other people around them. Three more and Lily turned to Lorcan; her face was red from dancing and singing. Her hair was askew and some of her makeup had rubbed off. Lorcan thought she looked beautiful.

Rose Weasley climbed aboard the Hogwarts express for the first time in her life. Her fathers words echoed in her mind. And like the normal, stubborn, eleven year old girl that she was, she completely ignored what he said.
