After losing his entire squad at Elysium, including his adoptive quarian brother, Shepard has constant and dangerous outbursts when his family or quarians in general are insulted. He joined the Alliance as an N7, he embraced God, he found a friend in Captain Anderson. None of it helped soothe him. He is broken, and only a certain quarian engineer can fix him. ME:1 story.

One-shot. Hackett talks with Shepard about his military ancestors and their exploits, before the Battle for Earth, and he gives his final battle speech.

Post Reaper-War. Most of Shepard's scars healed when the war was over, however, one scar in particular will stay with him for the rest of his life. Shepard has lost the ability to speak, and now spends his days with Tali at their home on Rannoch, living a peaceful life together.

One-shot. Shepard and Tali spend some alone-time playing human games and flirting in his cabin, though they still can't admit their feelings toward one another.

AU. No more reapers/collectors. After ME1. Shepard attempts to take back Rannoch, with the help of a huge army, and unintentionally stumbles across a new race of alien, and a dextro at that.
