Two friends are separated soon after meeting, one being sent to the Nativitas Academy for elemental benders while the other, a non-bender, is left behind. But he refuses to let go without a fight and swears to do whatever it takes to get himself into that academy, bender or not. However, a dark secret lies underneath the Nativitas Academy, just waiting for the day of its awakening.
