  • No Such Thing as Psychics

What if Jane really did have a 'gift? Each chapter will be based on an episode title and an incident of clairvoyance (call it what you will), using some of the symbolism we see throughout the seasons. Not stories, just fragments. (Because I'm a butterfly that can't focus on any one thing for long.) Obligatory disclaimer: I don't own The Mentalist.

  • An Interview with

This is very much an experiment, so I'm a little nervous about posting...! Mainly because it's all very, *very* silly. If you don't like talking animals/inanimate objects, I would advise that you stop reading here. Otherwise, please meet the uncredited yet utterly integral 'cast' of The Mentalist.

  • Nothing Gold Can Stay

A first-time collection of drabbles based on the poem that gave the latest episode its title. Little bit angsty at the end. :) Disclaimer: I do not own anything to do with The Mentalist, or this beautiful poem.

  • And the Band Plays On

My personal Wylie/Vega therapy. ;) Set way in the future, because I've always been interested in the idea of memory and looking back.

  • Chat with Cho

Just light-hearted silliness! You sorta just have to go with it... (You might like it better if you like cats). ;)

  • The Circle

Version of how Jane removes his ring. Set shortly after Blue Bird, following the 'More Than Words' style i.e. no heartfelt declarations. (Because I can't do those, lol.). I realise that the ring/ring removal is a sacred thing to many fans, so I hope not to trample all over it. I welcome feedback, but I hope you will be gentle with me. Thank you. :D

  • Portraits

I started this based on a scene from The Golden Hammer (the spying episode), had no idea where I was going with it, gave up, then thought that maybe instead I would try to do a little 'portrait' of each character; basically it's a creative writing exercise... ;) Only a little snapshot, linguistic 'doodling', nothing more.

  • Lines

It takes me bloomin' ages to finish most things, hence the somewhat out-of-date episode basis of Il Tavolo Bianco. I also have no plot ideas, so I suppose this is just kind of an introspective. Any 'edge' or 'angst' in it is probably long lost, now that we know what happens. Ah well. ;) Thank you for reading.

  • The Witness

I'm sorry, this just came out! Related to 6x22. I found the man sitting beside Lisbon faintly hilarious, I don't know why. I don't own anything Mentalist-related, not even the extras. ;)
