In an attempt to escape the Shadowzone, Soundwave gets pulled into a temporal anomaly, sending him to an alternate Earth where its history is drastically different and wars are waged with mechas. Upon arrival he is heavily damaged, but is soon revived. With his new form, he renames himself Soundblaster and begins his quest to return to Cybertron.

After Megatron exiled himself after the event with Unicron, he and some Decepticons are summoned by Vector Prime, who has foreseen them defeating an ancient threat. A new cause for the Decepticons, they're sent to an alternate Earth, where its history is different and holds a hidden power. Megatron also encounters a human going down the path he took. Will he stop him, or guide him?

During the battle with Shockwave's forces, a freak spacebridge event occurs, taking in many in its wake. Among them, the Dinobot leader known as Grimlock, is sent to another realm. Where giants overrun Earth and humanity is close to extinction. Now Grimlock, and a few other Autobots, must survive in a world where there's no energon and monsters larger than they can handle.
