Alice, Valkyrie Cain's six-year old sister is being threatened in an attempt to get to Valkyrie. But with a massive case keeping her and Skulduggery busy, Valkyrie needs someone to protect her. So she hires Dusk's daughter and Sanguine's son to keep Alice safe until the threat is gone. Problem is Dusk's daughter doesn't like children and has no idea how to take care of her.

While on a job Dusk meets a pretty vampire and they quickly become friends. Both completely opposing the idea of any romantic relationship things change when Sanguine and Tanith get involved. Moloch gets jealous of the relationship and Caelan has a dark past with both vampires while Jack just sits by. And Valkyrie and Skulduggery start a new case that just causes even more trouble.

The Sanctuary needs insurance money, and what better way to do that then a play. Valkyrie, Skulduggery and the rest of the Sanctuary, stage a production of 'The Lion King,' which ends up being viewed by an audience of their enemies. But things begin to get out of hand when relationships are involved.

Sanguine's son is in trouble. Big trouble. And he doesn't know why. Not knowing what to do, he enlists the help of his father, Dusk, Valkyrie, Skulduggery, and his crush, Dusk's daughter. Together, they work to destroy the threat and in the process Sanguine's son's memories of his childhood long forgotten resurface along with a stronger attraction for Dusk's daughter.

Dusk, Sanguine and Sanguine's son have been hired by a man to stop someone from destroying a secret Sanctuary organization. Meanwhile, Dusk's daughter has been captured by Moloch's daughter to help with achieving a goal. The two parties' paths cross in a way no one wanted and now they are stuck with a problem bigger then they thought. Valkyrie and Skulduggery are in this!

So this is going to be the backstories for Dusk's daughter and Sanguine's son from my story 'Children of Criminals.' I will be flip-flopping who's story it is every chapter. T for violence. Please review!
