Immediately following the events of Operation - Annihilate, Doctor Leonard Mccoy tries to understand exactly what possessed him to so loudly endorse Spock.

Doctor Bashir and Elim Garak are reunited in Internment Camp 371, to the surprise of both parties. They have to figure out how to get out of there whilst navigating their affection for each other (a much more complicated and precarious matter). Things never run smoothly where these two are concerned.

Julian endeavours to bring some Christmas cheer to a certain prickly Cardassian. At a time of year normally spent with family, these two find solace in each other.

Dr Bashir unwittingly finds himself being hit on by an Alien visitor to the station. Luckily for him, there is somebody who is willing to help smooth things out and explain that Julian isn't as single as he seems. Elim Garak had never had a problem lying before, particularly when it came to hiding his own thoughts and feelings. However, this one skirts a bit too close to the truth.

Julian tries to do something nice for Garak who is (of course) suitably suspicious. Set before/during the episode 'Doctor Bashir I Presume'. The pair of them juggle the revelation of Julian's genetic status alongside figuring out how to understand and express their feelings for each other. Usual hijinks ensue.
