In the first chapter Lily reflects about her past friendship with Severus, who she doesn't know anymore, nor she would want to. The second chapter is pure Jily fluff and way funnier. Also, through Lily's thoughts we can see the differences between James and Severus' attitudes and their opposite reactions to the war.
