An unfamiliar, pink, stretchy someone and her fuzzy best friend have come to break Lars out of space prison and put an end to his over-a-millennium-long confinement. It would seem that much has changed during his containment, however, including himself. How will he deal with these changes? Should he deal with them at all? And, most importantly, where are Steven and Connie?

After a sword training session, Lars and Grace Maheswaran-Universe, Steven and Connie's daughter, set off to get some ice cream together. Lars takes the opportunity to be a cool (non-blood) uncle. A short, sweet, canon compliant one-shot set twenty five years after Steven Universe Future.

It has been centuries since Lars set off for the stars with his crew. Who knew that he'd end up spending a lot of that time in a high-security space jail for his many crimes against Homeworld as a space pirate? Thankfully, it seems that a familiar, pink someone has come to finally break him out and end his multi-decade-long, mind-numbing boredom. Why was he broken out, though?
