The Kuroba family supposedly died nine years ago, yet Kaitou Kid still lives. Following the destruction of the Black Organization, Shinichi vows to take down any remnants of the crime syndicate. After befriending Hakuba, Shinichi finds the existence of another organization. Following a chance meeting and an assassination attempt, the detectives find a key player to their cause. AU

With the Black Organization gone, Shinichi is finally free. But what about Kid? Kaito had thought he had things under control until he gets found out by Aoko and an outside party. The fall of the organization has tipped the scales of power in the underworld, causing another similar group of men in black to take action. Kid soon finds himself cornered and seeks out help for once.

Since his revival, Kaitou Kid doesn't always return the stolen gems. While investigating a lead, Shinichi encounters an agent codenamed Armagnac. While they didn't have a pleasant meeting, Armagnac later proved to be more than just an ordinary member of the organization. From then on, their paths cross and twist on one another in their mutual goal of destroying the organization. AU
