La historia da lugar en la región de Weinmar, donde una dictadura con puño de hierro se dedica a perseguir a gente de diferente descendencia para asesinarlos. Ahí Edgar, un ratero que trata de sobrevivir a la persecución, junto con Adelle, Logan y Belle, planean aprovechar la oportunidad de derrocar ese régimen, y es mediante combates pokemon.
