Leaf is on her way to becoming a certified Pokémon Researcher when the unexpected happens and Gary Oak is assigned to be her Research Supervisor. They've been friends for a while, but when things begin to heat up in the Lab, Leaf and Gary must decide if they want to continue to be friends or something more. Especially if there are dating rules between Researchers and Supervisors.
