When Dr. Joshua Ashford discovers the Energy Beasts, a collection of new and mysterious morphers, the powerful energy awakens an army of robots who are dead set on destroying Sunset Beach. Realizing what he has done, Dr. Ashford recruits a group of young teenagers to use the Energy Beasts to become a new team of Power Rangers.
