Maybe it only happened this way in my head... Following the slow burn storyline of the show, adding in all kinds of extras. Jane and Kurt, and those "heart eyes" that they're always giving each other.

This story fills in some of the gaps between the scenes from The Walking Dead, as if they were deleted scenes like you'd find on a DVD. It focuses mainly, though not exclusively, on Carol & Daryl because they're my favorites. I'm following the path of the show, just with extra emphasis on the Caryl relationship.

Linden and Holder spend a lot of time together, and yet, there's a lot that isn't said... but the more time they spend together, the less that matters. They can read each other... most of the time. This story includes clips from the show as well as extra scenes that I would have *liked* to have seen, and lots of what may have been going on in their heads.

Takes place during the 5 years between when Linden left Seattle after Richmond "cleared up" the Skinner situation and when she came back to see Holder, in the last scene of s4 e6... plus a little bit that came after that.
