In 2002, twelve-year-old Q begins his studies at Cambridge and makes a friend (sort of maybe definitely). In 2012, the recruitment of an unconventional boffin sparks the birth of the Equipment Retrieval Unit (ERUdites for short). Bright Star 'verse.
Q's horrible sense of fashion had to come from somewhere, and it certainly wasn't inherited from his father, the former 007, who was known for his impeccable sense of style. The meeting of Q's parents. Bright Star 'verse.
Bill Tanner is a good secret agent because he's boring. People tend to overlook and underestimate him. The same goes for Q, but in a rather different sort of way. That might be why they're such good mates. Character study of Tanner and Q. Bright Star 'verse, but may be read alone.
Q has a flashback of his traumatic accident when he's told he'll have to get on a plane for a mission. Features angsty Q, protective Bond, Tanner, Moneypenny, and M, and also lots of brotherly/comforting Alec. Bright Star 'verse, but may probably stand alone. Posted for PTSD Awareness month.
The aftermath of the bombing of the MI6 building in Skyfall, as told through the eyes of Q's family. Bright Star 'verse.
Q patches Alec up after a mission. Snarky Q and Alec banter, nosy Bond, more humor than hurt/comfort. Bright Star 'verse, after "The Spy Who Came in From the Cold," but can probably be read as a standalone.
Q, Tanner, and Shakespeare go a long way back. NOT a Tanner/Q story or anything kinky in the least; title is a pun. Tanner/Mrs. Tanner is the only pairing. Bright Star 'verse. Posted in honor of Shakespeare's birthday (April 23).
Pi Day was one of Q's favorite holidays, since the day was also his birthday, unbeknownst to most of his colleagues. Flashes back from 2016 to 1991. Features Q as both an adult and a baby, plus the OC family I've made up for him. Bright Star 'verse. Silly fluff. Written for Pi Day (March 14th).
"Were you expecting an exploding pen? We don't really go in for that sort of thing anymore." Q and the exploding pen, in 2016 (Chapter 1) and 1993 (Chapter 2). Bright Star 'verse.
1990. Ex-CIA and ex-DEA agent Ivar Bryce drops in on his old friend Damien Drake (agent 007 of MI6) at the request of Q, and is confronted by a rather loud (but small) surprise. Bright Star 'verse, featuring Baby Q (the Q from Skyfall when he was a baby, if you're not familiar with my 'verse).
"So much for my promising career in espionage." Q is to face a court martial for his actions in the Skyfall affair. Mallory, the new M, asks Tanner for his opinion on the young man directly after Skyfall. Tanner tells the truth. Bright Star 'verse, but may be read alone.
Fourteen-year-old Q comes out to his family. Everyone already knows. Because, you know, spies. No pairings, except for a tiny mention of a one-sided crush. Sappy and fluffy humor. Family feels. Bright Star 'verse.
2002. A Christmas story. Twelve-year-old Q discovers his father's secret. Bright Star 'verse. You may want to read "The Star to Every Wandering Barque" to understand this.
1992. Two-year-old Q finally gets a puppy. Cuteness and fluff. Bright Star 'verse. Posted in honor of World Pet Day (Nov. 30).
2008. Caleb Turner, agent 009, underestimates Q (before he is Q), and ends up flat on his back. Basically, 009 gets what he deserves for being a jerk and makes a new friend who isn't afraid of standing up to him. Bright Star 'verse, but may be read alone.
Picks up where "The Spy Who Came in From the Cold" left off. Q gets very drunk, and Alec sees him safely home. Bond tags along out of curiosity. Big brotherly Alec, nosy Bond, tipsy Q. And cats. Bright Star 'verse.
Ron's favorite spell isn't the one to disarm an enemy, nor is it the one that makes people forget. Written for comment-fic at LJ. Prompt: any, favorite spell
According to reports created by the British Magical Census Bureau, "Harry" was the most popular baby name in Wizarding Britain in the 1980s, and regained popularity in 1998 and into the new millenium. This is a story that's not really a story about those Harrys (and Harriets, and Harolds, and- you get the picture).
A time travel story. The teenaged Marauders use a time turner to go almost twenty years into the future, just to see what happens. They wreak havoc, of course, and meet some very interesting people, including a certain Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. Set briefly in the Marauders' time and during Prisoner of Azkaban.
