1988. A mysterious Irish woman named Abigail O'Connor comes to teach at Hogwarts. With her she brings changes in curriculum and a puzzle Severus Snape can't let go. When animals across the UK start disappearing and the thief is spotted in the Forbidden Forest Dumbledore sets them to the case. Can the catch the thief or will they kill each other first?

A series of one shots that will eventually become a full story following Severus Snape and Abigail MacDonald, a spy hired by Dumbledore to help his potions professor in their fight against Voldemort.
