Izuku is not the boy we all know, he didn't grow up in the usual manner, in fact quirks hadn't shown up when he was young, this is an older Izuku, a more mature version of the character that we love. And yet his goal is the same, he will become the worlds number one hero, to prove them all wrong, man and god alike, to prove that beneath her, they are nothing.
