Found by the Arc family and taken in to recover, Specialist Cinder Fall finds her loyalties strained as she grows closer to the family who saved her and took her prisoner, particularly Jaune.

[Crack with plot] In which Jaune is a jaded alcoholic and accidental time traveler, Cinder is a snarky teenager and somehow not completely evil, and Raven just really wants to kill someone. It was supposed to be an easy mission - find a Beacon student, seduce them, interrogate them, and kill them. She'd done plenty like it before. And yet, Trifa wasn't prepared for just how different Jaune would prove to be. Now torn between her feelings for Jaune and her loyalty to the White Fang, she must choose a side before it's too late as the Vytal Festival draws ever closer.

It all started at the Fall of Beacon, when four lives became intertwined with the sudden intervention of two types of magic. When it was over, they found themselves in a strange, far-away, hellish land, completely unfamiliar to all of them. Now stuck there, the four must learn to survive and try to find a way back to Remnant, lest they all be lost to the Zone.
