I got to wondering about an adventuring party's origins. Avoiding the well established and respected, "you are sitting in a tavern when a mysterious stranger enters" trope, I came up with a chance meeting on the road. This story is set in the "Forgotten Realms ", but the characters and story are my own. The story's written purely for entertainment purposes. Hope you enjoy.

I recently read a story by a writer friend that had an interesting chapter dealing with Unicorns, which also happen to be my child's favourite animal. Got to pondering, and this silly bit of urban fantasy, or rather rural fantasy, was the result.
