There was a reason Buckbeak attacked Malfoy and it wasn't because Malfoy insulted the hippogriff's pride. It was for a more interresting reason that only Buckbeak knows.

AU Harry is a vampire and so is his twin sister. Instead of living with the Dursleys they live with their great uncle who is a vampire lord. Not all is what it seems and the twins don't go to Hogwarts. May be some language in later chapters.
