Not much closure was given when Kitty's chose to leave. You know it was a hard goodbye & a difficult decision to throw away all those years. She didn't have much choice. She knew it would be better for them in the end. Memories were all she took, she left everything & everyone in Dodge. The poem touches on that choice & the dark days that followed.
