AU-ish, Arizona moves to a small town in the mountains searching for peace of heart and mind. Little does she know that this move will eventually turn her world upside down when a gorgeous Latina suddenly appears in her life.

"Arizona, you are allowed to lose a little bit of control…" - I always thought those words were supposed to trigger something else in Arizona… re-envisioning 9x23/24 - I figured there was something else I wanted to fix ;-) One-shot.

Inspired by 12x16 - we all saw in Callie's eyes that who she wants cheering beside her is not Penny, I am not buying it ;-). So, this is my version of how I think things should have progressed on Grey's post 12x16... *update*: This story starts before the custody battle and thus changes the course of things.

The story takes place after the plane crash. What if Arizona never lost her leg but something else was wrong… What can I say, I like changing what Grey's did to them ;-).

Sequel to Playing with Fire, this one is dark though, so don't expect it to be funny like its predecessor. It is going to be a rough ride but there might be light at the end of the tunnel if you can handle the journey ;-). Hope some of you will still join me on this story, and might even find comfort in it...
