After being trapped in the pylon, Griffin is "rescued" by Paladins and taken to one of their headquarter buildings. There, he is imprisoned and observed as part of their research program. Griffin can't help but notice something unusual about the Paladin tasked with his observation; she seems almost kind. A friendship of sorts grows between them - and maybe something more.

AU based on the story of Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. Genji is captured and taken from his brother and fellow members of Overwatch, and he must find a way to get back to them in Gibraltar. On his journey, he meets a new ally and finds true love. But Genji's journey home is not without its struggles.
