Was the "meteor impact" in the middle of a desolate Scottish moor a small scale test, or just clever theatre involving a hidden ten-gallon drum of refined erumpent fluid? The wizarding world may never know.

Take that one challenge involving time travel and the Fair Folk, mix it with a postmodern interpretation of how such a being might find a new source of power, and simmer the mixture for a few months. You'd probably end up with a better story than this one, but I got bitten by a wild plot bunny while reading about May Day's pagan origins, so I decided to publish anyway.
