In the nineteen-seventies, the Doctor is exiled on Earth, and becomes U.N.I.T. 's scientific advisor. At least that's what happened in one universe. His TARDIS no longer functioning, and his ability to regenerate out of the question, the Doctor is now a changed man. With socialism and nationalism on the rise, it's time for the Doctor to take charge. Permanently.
