Set during S36 Ep42. David has returned to work and Dylan feels it is too early. He has reached out to Henrik Hanssen, not only because he is CEO but he would be able to understand how David is feeling. Henrik wants to help butbhe knows that it will mean the return of old demons for him.

Set just before Christmas. Oliver Valentine had just announced he was leaving medicine. Henrik had just asked Russ to remain at Holby.

Love the character of Russ Haber (and anyone who knows my writing knows I love to write Hanssen. I have come back to writing as we need to keep Holby alive once it finishes. This story is a continuation from the ending of S.23 E.45

It is Russel's birthday and Henrik has gone all out to surprise him.
