The Republic of San Magnolia is dying as the Legion lay siege to its capital. Lena, now Handler of all surviving 86 squadrons, desperately commandeers with the limited resources at her disposal. Meanwhile, the Federacy's Strike Package have broken through to the Eastern Front, and Undertaker arrives on site to witness the ruins of San Magnolia.

It starts off as a small cough. Itachi barely notices; he has never taken well to cold places and shrugs it off as a temporary illness. But, slowly and surely, the symptoms worsen, leaving him gasping for air and hacking up crimson blood. What could have been had Itachi survived. Slightly AU but also slightly canon.
