AU After humanity was banished to the west, Xadia was separated from them using a magical barrier called the veil that was sustained by the ambient primal energy. They felt secure in the belief that they would retain their superiority even if humanity ever managed to breach the veil. But the status quo wouldn't last forever and a great change was descending upon the world.
