Green Arrow makes his statement on the North Western after having regained his voice and starts to make a friend in Duck. Henry expresses a desire to meet his siblings with Henry Stainer and Tornado struggles with the current state of e engine 4472 is given the honour of pulling the Flying Scotsman but he fears that this will make his siblings hate him even more.

Green Arrow hasn't been seen for almost a year after trying to get the Flying Scotsman scrapped. So when he reappears as the newest member of the North Western Railway as the newest mixed traffic engine, it shakes the small Island to its core. But with everyone keeping an eye on Green Arrow, are they letting the real danger slip into the background.

The Young Iron, Tornado, is constantly bullied by the other bigger and older steam engines. They think she is an imposter and not a true Steam Engine. After a particularly bad day she is desperate to return home but almost gets into an accident with the famous Flying Scotsman and insults him. Not exactly the best first impression.

The Flying Scotsman is damaged in a serious accident just outside Vicarstown and struggles with demons from his past. A young Express Engine takes over his train and Gordon finds himself questioning everything.
