Planet Vegeta has been destroyed, along with most of the Saiyan race. Bardock narrowly avoids his fate by fleeing with his family, but ends up stranded on Earth. However, Earth's unique inhabitants have an uncanny desire to be as heroic as possible, annoying him to no end. After all, how could a planet-conquering warrior like him ever be a hero?

That summer when Ben first found and used the Omnitrix was a simple one. Find bad guy, go hero, beat bad guy, get away, repeat. Ben was on top of the world; in a world full of quirks, he had the coolest one of all. However, every action has a reaction, and Ben's vigilantism has landed him in trouble. Now at UA, Ben must prove himself a hero, or suffer the consequences.
