This short(er) story takes place at the beginning of The Rise of Skywalker, when Kylo Ren is travelling through Mustafar in search of the Sith Wayfinder. The story then cuts to my own personal additions, aka a Force-Connection between Kylo and Rey, resulting in a lightsaber battle. Rey's lightsaber malfunctions, giving Kylo the perfect opportunity to kill her- but will he?

While traveling in search for the Sith Wayfinder, Rey is distracted by... voices. The voices that tell her to surrender to the vision both her and Kylo Ren shared. How will this alternative take on the scene(s) from TROS play out?
