Two years following the Night-Howler case, Officer Judy Hopps and her partner Nick Wilde have become an iconic duo in the ZPD since Wilde's graduation from academy. However, there the pairing comes to an end when a police chase goes awry and Nick goes missing and is presumed dead. It would be years until Judy finds what's left of her long-lost friend.
