Jiraiya takes over as Naruto's guardian when he's 7, taking him from the village till he's 12, changing Naruto's life for the better. Stronger and 'Smarter' Naruto, but it will be a reasonably paced build-up. Slight AU, more Uzumaki, a stronger bond between Naruto and Sasuke, but my goal is to keep the core of their characters the same. No bashing. No pairing at this moment.
