Story takes place in Season 2 near the end of Episode 8, "The Sins of the Father." Uther delivers a warning to Arthur's worthless servant.

Set some time in season 4, shortly after the events in Episode 10, "A Herald of the New Age." Something evil has been stealing away the Druid children and only the powerful Emrys can save them. Merlin leaves Camelot to rescue the children when the Druids come to seek his help.

Set during Episode 13 ("Le Morte D'Arthur") in Season 1, and immediately thereafter. Arthur is away when Merlin returns from the Isle of the Blessed. Arthur receives a gift, and Merlin searches for an evil sorcerer.

Story set in Season 3, immediately after Episode 10, "Queen of Hearts." Uther commands Arthur to find the sorcerer, Dragoon the Great, to be brought back to Camelot for execution. Uther vents his rage and disappointment on Arthur. Arthur, hiding his love for Gwen, and unable to find the sorcerer, unleashes his anger and frustration on Merlin. Merlin quits, destiny be damned.

Story set immediately after Episode 3 in Season 1. Arthur is sent on a diplomatic mission to the Western Isles, a kingdom that welcomes the practice of magic. Merlin faces a decision that could change his destiny forever.

Set during and immediately after Episode 6 in Season 3, "The Changeling." Merlin faces the anger of the Sidhe for killing the Sidhe Elder. As punishment for his crime, Merlin is given a fateful choice. What price must he pay to save Arthur and his destiny?

Set immediately at the conclusion of Episode 11 in Season 4 ("The Hunter's Heart"). The evil sorcerer restrains Merlin's power and takes his place in Camelot, intent on causing the destruction of his rival and the king he serves. Will Merlin be able to save himself when he is condemned to hang?

Takes place during and immediately after Season 4, Episode 5, "His Father's Son." A young nobleman who comes to Camelot to swear fealty to the newly crowned King Arthur sees Merlin's magic. Merlin must protect his secret at all costs. Rated M.

Takes place during Season 4, after Episode 2, "The Darkest Hour – Part 2." Arthur is taken by slave traders and placed under an evil spell by a powerful sorcerer to control his mind. Merlin must find him to buy him and save him.

Set in Season 3, after Episode 4 ("Gwaine"). At the dragon's urgent call, Merlin faces an evil sorcerer bent on destroying Camelot, but loses himself.

Set after the conclusion of Season 2. Merlin's secret is discovered while he and Arthur are looking for Morgana. He rescues Arthur from a vengeful king, but must run for his life from his destiny.

Set in Season 2 between Episode 11 ("The Witch's Quickening") and Episode 12 ("The Fires of Indirsholas"). Morgana falls in love with a prince from a rival kingdom. A stranger learns Merlin's secret and tragedy strikes in Camelot.

While Arthur is enchanted to fall in love with Lady Vivian, Merlin is tormented by two young newcomers to Camelot who interfere with his destiny to protect Arthur. Takes place in Season 2 during episode 10, "Sweet Dreams."
