It's hit-or-miss, really, whether or not Dave will come in. Either he'll take the day, surround himself in homely comforts, or lock himself in his office, case files up to his eyeballs. As his friend, she's hoping he chooses the first option, but as someone who wants to brood and wallow herself, she's hoping he chooses the second, just so they can do it together for a while.
