In the Kingdom of the Night, Artemis is crowned king after his father dies. In the Empire of the Sun, Sol is crowned king after turning 19. Tensions are high between the two kingdoms as they had just receded from peace that had lasted forever, and were thrown into a brutal war that lasted more than 6 years. This retelling is from the perspective of Artemis.
