The Wayland Smith

  • The Lord in the Mist

The year is 1996. The Second Wizarding War is in mid-swing. Voldemort is on the loose. A mysterious traveller is searching for a forbidden text which could result in destruction on a scale unseen since the 1940s, whilst someone (or something) pursues him. Dumbledore is balancing far, far too many jobs. Time for a Dark Lord to save the world.

  • To Play the Devil

Immortality is not all it's cracked up to be. At least not when your only friend is your worst enemy. The war ended over a hundred years ago. Harry Potter and Voldemort are old, out of practice, and politely ignoring each other. What a pity that couldn't last. In the Black Forest something is rising which will require them both to stop. AU. Complete.

  • Traveller

Sequel to 'To Play the Devil'. Harry and Tom left our world behind, but the new world is far more dangerous. The washerwomen guard the fords; reapers walk the noon-day fields; the Gentry are riding, and Death moves against them. Enter a land of fairies, enchantment and fear. When they face foes they never imagined can they stay true to themselves?

  • Kind Harts and Potters

James Potter was the last of a wealthy pureblood family. The only thing is that he wasn't always the last. This is the story of how James Potter ensured that he would inherit the wealth and influence of the Potter family. BLACK COMEDY. An homage to Kind Hearts and Coronets. COMPLETED.

  • The Lord of Mists

There are hidden secrets beneath the skin of the world, secrets which should not be awoken. There more powers than Voldemort moving against the wizarding world in 1994. In the quiet of the English hills legends are moving and the Sidhe host is stirring.

  • Harry Potter and the Goblins and other stories

Harry Potter discovers the amazing truth about himself when he visits Gringotts. Please don't take this seriously, even as a piece of humour. Oh and the pairing, I really, really promise it isn't romantic, but they are pretty much the only characters involved. Also a look at the Elder Wand and a fairytale. Genres differ by chapter, the marked ones only apply to the first two.

  • The Devil's Dance

A semi-prologue to Harry Potter and the Broken Oath. The war is over for Harry, but adventures do have a tendency to find him. Especially at Halloween. Especially when there is someone with a lust for dark power around. Sometimes though he finds the most unlikely allies.
