"I'm perfectly fine dear, I've just been working later than usual." The Headmistress answered softly. Although it was clear the red head didn't believe a word she said, she was glad that she didn't push her further on the subject. How could you tell someone that the reason you were losing sleep was because you had feelings for them?

Turning slowly to look at the witch, Hermione waited a beat before answering, "She was saving my life."

"Mr Tanner, pleasure to meet you." The blonde said, holding out her hand to shake his, "As you know, I'm Carmon Bond and your security sucks." Having just walked into MI6's back up base, Carmon throws M's already upside down world for a loop.

The small boy looked her over curiously, "Are you really the Queen of Hearts?"

Hermione snorted, "You act like you've never seen a witch before Miss Swan."

"You know, you'll be Queen one day. When you are, it's best to have someone who loves you so completely by your side."

"No," Hermione said sharply, "I doubt I will tell you much of anything again Headmistress."

Nodding Hermione continued to look at the many stars lighting up the night sky. As she watched a star fall across the ruins, she sent a silent pray up to the heavens. 'Protect my heart.'

Harry's life takes a dramatic turn after his essay is read to the Great Hall.

"He is my grandson Minerva, and your god son."

Faragonda let out a soft moan before opening her eyes slightly. Seeing Bloom above her, she smiled and reached up for the hand that still rested on her cheek. "Bloom."

Not bothering to knock, the ex-fairy godmother entered silently and looked at the red head sadly. She had never seen her look so down before. She was usually the one to smile and laugh when things got hard. Moving further into the room, Faragonda sat down next to the girl and took one of her hands in her own. "How are you Bloom?"

She started falling, but the person caught her around the waist. Standing up right, Hermione looked up into two emerald eyes. Hermione gasped as her Professor pulled her closer and leaned in.

Opening the door, she let out a gasp. There, hanging from one of the post of her bed, was the most beautiful dress she had ever seen. Walking over to it, she ran her hand across the soft black material before unpinning the small note. 'Enjoy the bath. I'll be there to pick you up at eight.' For Rhika.

Hermione wished she had the gift of beauty.
