"Until later then", she waved at me, leaving me confused. I would never understand her but still I loved her. And that was all that mattered.
„Tauriel. Amin hiraetha", he said as he reached for her. He felt guilty. But for her it wasn't enough. „Don't touch me!", she cried, feeling tears in her eyes. They were never meant to be.
He left again. Wrong, he never came back in the first place. Maybe it was better this way. We weren't meant to be from the start, were we?
I missed my chances. I had too many of them. I should stop trying. Stop trying to make people proud of me. Stop trying to be proud of myself.
We all have scars. Some visible, some not. But still they are existing even if by tending them right they might fade after some time.
„You will never be enough." A single tear made its way down her cheek. „But I am!", she screamed. „I am!" „Liar."
I was too late to love her. I had to let her go.
„Legolas", she whispered. Her eyes widened. „Just answer the question", I pleaded. I was scared. Scared that I might have lost her.
They were from different stars. His shone brighter than hers will ever do.
I felt something. A feeling from deep inside of me. What was it? Was is it the feeling of not being alone? Of mending? A sob escaped me. More tears fell. Was I even supposed to heal?
I knew it isn't easy but somehow I knew I'm better off this way.
I lay there in the healing tent. At least that's what I suspected, regarding all those healers and the groaning soldiers on the floor. „Tauriel?", I heard someone whisper, the same voice I heard before.
„If you don't tell me I am going to look myself", he breathed into my ear, making me shiver. I closed my eyes and burried my head in my pillow as he pulled down my shorts a little. Thank kami the tattoo was on the upper half of my butt...
„Sa-ku-ra", he slurred as he came into my room. I tried to look asleep. Not today. Not again. I can't take this anymore.
„I wish I could reach them", she whispered and held up her hand as if to try and reach them.
I sunk down on my knees. „Tauriel", I whispered and brushed away a strand of her hair. „Mankoi?"
„That is unfair", I said and pursed my lips. He grinned down at me. „Or we are going to dance", my eyes widened. „Tell me were to go?", I quickly asked. „My chambers" he answered and led me away from the feast.
„I've got you", her capturer whispered in her ear. She shrieked in surprise and turned around. Grinning, he pushed her gainst the tree, trapping her there with his arms. Her breath caught in her throat as she looked into his blue eyes, getting lost in the ocean.
„Legolas?", I whispered. „Yes?", he mumured while drawing circles on my back. We were sitting on our bed, he was leaning against the headboard with me sitting on his lap, snuggled to his chest. „Can I asked you something?"
I closed my eyes again and concentrated at it. There it was. Like a new star at the sky. What I felt was a new life growing. At that moment I felt my child for the first time.
