The classic VideoGame! plot. Harry Potter defeats Lord Voldemort once, and goes all the way to the end. Then he comes back... into the arcade. A Harry Potter in one RPG - with logic. Fair warning, I have never played an RPG before, so I will be borrowing elements from other stories. Once again, this is only a plot.

Harry Potter was called into another world, and then sacrificed, at the feet of a Dark Lord - is that all it takes to stain a soul? For Albus Dumbledore, it is perhaps just another sin in a litany of noble failures. So do not be so quick to judge a life that you have not lived, for it is desperation that makes murderers of mere men. Oneshot! Dimension travel done... differently.

This is the tale of a single moment; the tale of a breaking and a falling and a forging. Histories have no beginning or end, and so this is neither how it started nor how it was done - this is merely another page, as stained with bloody ink as any other. This is a tale of pain and a terrible, merciless love, and I tell it the only way I know how.

So many things could have been different, so many other stories told, history rewritten and books rethought - if only a canon character had decided that thinking might actually have been worth it. One by one, word by word, the tale of every dimension, of every universe governed by the choices of men must be told. The story that follows is but one of them. Oneshot set in third year.
