  • The thing about Skye

A series of one-shots about Skye and the team learning more about her throughout the AoS seasons. Skye has an abusive childhood, and it affects her more than the show explores. Some chapters will be more general, some will be from other perspectives, and they are all generally connected but can be read separately.

  • The heartbeats in her ear

Kara has become dependent on certain heartbeats and she's convinced that if one of them stops, the world will end like it did on Krypton. Themes of anxiety, dependency, panic attacks, survivor's guilt, some comfort but mostly angst

  • Fucking Gravity

"I'm not a bad person, Fay. I'm not… I'm a GOOD person." "Don't look to me for validation," I whisper, turning my attention to the ceiling so that I don't have to stare into those god damn gold-flecked eyes. "All I ever see are bad guys." [F/F][Imprint story][Leah needs love][guys I can't stop][only M for language]

  • To remember with perfectly hazed clarity

Skye doesn't remember much of her childhood. Or, sometimes, she remembers too much of it. A glimpse into Skye's past and when it suddenly affects her present, taking place throughout the entirety of the show. PTSD, Trauma, memory repression, mentions of depression, rape, and self-harm.

  • Soothing Cold

Bella is forced to move in with her father in a small town called Forks. As her father steps tentatively around her, she pushes everyone away, shunning their burning touch as she clutches desperately at a secret she doesn't even know why she's hiding anymore. Only her angels with their soothing cold keep her somewhat grounded, but every day she is still splintering in constant fear

  • Unchecked Control

While I can't control the food I have access to, or when it becomes available, I have the control of not eating it. I feel… better when going from not having a choice in not eating, to not eating because I CHOOSE to. It's like something in the universe is being put right again. Even if I the aching hunger that carves into my stomach is a result of that choice. It's my CHOICE.

  • Lie By Default

[Sequel to I'm Not a Liar] "We don't LIE to each other, Maya." I laugh. I can't help it. I feel like I'm going to implode with stress. "I've ALWAYS lied to you all." With every excuse, with every false smile or false bravado. "I do it every day." His brow creases in confusion. He doesn't know. He doesn't understand. [F/F][Maya still isn't okay][depression and other dark themes]

  • Witch Hunt

"He's a paranoid old man believing in magic." I start to smile. "You don't believe in magic, Jacob?" "No," he scoffs. "Do you?" Of course. "I believe that there are things in this world that humans can't even comprehend or know of." Jacob looks like he's trying to repress laughter. "That's deep." [Bellice]

  • I'm Not a Liar- I'm Not

I'm not a liar- I'm not. She doesn't have to know. If she asks, I'll tell her- but she won't ask because when I'm with her, I'm fine and there is no reason for her to ask. (darker themes of depression and self harm)

  • Legacy

[Book 4 in Alex Taylor series] Merlin, why does this always happen? Not only does she have to deal with Death Eater brainwashing, er, training, but since when does anyone care if she doesn't wear a skirt to class? This new DADA professor is more evil than her dear grandfather (who tried to kill her friends) and Barty Jr (who also tried to kill her friends) put together.
