That pretty much sums up Merlin's life. A series of drabbles and short stories. Don't own, no slash, prompts welcome, and some threads will be continued from my previous story, Merlin Headcanons.
Sirius Black is not quite human.
James is born already running out of time.
Lily had no idea what the point of all this was, and she was beginning to suspect that James didn't either.
Even running for his life, there are bright spots.
Sirius stops to think the night the Potters die. Things turn out a bit better. (Fix-it. I don't own Harry Potter.)
When the Marauders leave Hogwarts, they start a toy store. This changes more than you might think.
Sirius isn't a fan of going home for the holidays.
Dumbledore's been struggling to find new Defense professors for a very long time.
Madam Pomfrey is not an idiot, despite three generations of students who evidently think otherwise.
Sirius encounters technical difficulties on Halloween. This is more fortunate than initially suspected. (Slight crack.)
House elves have their own ways of fighting back. (A series of drabbles spanning from the 1920s to the Battle of Hogwarts.)
Oneshots and drabbles. New chapter - Tonks finds the Marauder's Map. Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter. Obviously.
Every reader wishes they could go back and change something in a story. Be careful what you wish for. When a shadowy society does just that, Sirius's life is saved but at awful cost. Now Voldemort is on the verge of winning, those who stand against him are few and scattered, and a horcrux is just out of reach. In their defense, it sounded like a good idea at the time . . .
