A One Shot story about how Buddy's life changed from a rat in a barn to a rat in the park where he met Surly and how he ended up being with the squirrel as best friends.

Then they discover Hayden, a little girl who can talk to animals and Surly plans to use her in the heist. However soon the squirrel starts to develope something new; true love for Hayden

Made by me and my friend Scruffy the rat. When Surly, Buddy and Andie take in an orphaned human child who can talk to animals they had no idea they were going to have to protect their new friend from Raccoon, who returned for revenge as well as a cruel orphanage owner and a bunch of bullies.

When Surly faces the possibility of losing Buddy, his rat partner who is also his brother and best friend, he remembers how they met, their first Nut Job and more as he tends to his dear rat friend as he remains in a coma... and the purple squirrel worries he'll never wake up again.
