Six months have passed and Melody's enjoying her mundane life. However, trouble starts to occur when bats start to go missing. Melody takes it upon herself to solve the mystery only to find herself in more danger than she has ever been. Melody helps out at a bat conservation, and studies these creatures up close. However when one experiment goes wrong, she finds herself in the body of a bat and accidentally gets deported into Canada. Befriended by a young silverwing bat, Melody is faced with the brutal harshness of the 'survival of the fittest.' (Story follows the TV show).
