Together the two of them find out the town's lack of holiday joy and the reasoning behind it, and decide they're going to make Christmas right again for the town. After the disappearance of their parents, Dipper and Mabel find themselves back in Gravity Falls for their first year of high school, tackling forgotten mistakes, old friends, and the same type of mysteries the town always promised to provide.
