Long ago there were six students, masters of several of the elements; earth, light, shadow, fire, water, ice, & lightning. They grew up & were the family they never really had. Along the way they will find friends & enemies, love & hatred, despair & rage, many trials that will shape their destinies & test their hearts. This is the story of Garmadon & his friends.
All was well after the virus was gone & Ninjago City was returning to normal. The ninja are once again heroes & now are friends with Penny, Cyrus, Cryptor, & Pixal. However; many men & and women across the land all receive letters of invitation for a tournament on a strange little island across the sea. When they arrive, they may very well lose more than they bargained for.
Five pairs are on spending the day with one another, two were set up on a blind date, two run into each other,two set up the first pair, a nindroid who has to teach his new robotic girlfriend about love, and another who is together once more after being apart for so long. Let's see what happens to our ninja as they participate in the day of love... and for Lloyd? Chocolate.
Misako has to care for Lloyd on her own for six months after Garmadon leaves her. She cries and tries to move on with little Lloyd trailing behind her with the tissue box because he knows her better when she says "I'm alright". A broken heart takes time to heal.
The ninja's first Christmas with Garmadon & the kids. Oh how will this holiday end up after the Halloween fiasco? Hopefully a little better if the Christmas tree doesn't burn down or everyone ends up getting each other those scratchy, tacky Christmas sweaters everyone hates as white elephant gifts. Let's hope everyone will get along.
Finally everyone is together & happy again... well, sort of. Everything starts becoming a little crazy when the ninja start building the monastery and school, not to mention Garmdon has to put up with a whole new set of emotions after eight years. Maybe taking care of fourteen homeless kids will help fix that. Of course Lloyd and Misako will be there every step for him.
Nya likes video games just as much as the boys, maybe she's even better at it than they are.
Two kings played a game; it was left at a stalemate when the king of light was losing. After the king died, a boy with a heart of gold took his place at the chess board of fate. Together with his five friends, they will decide the fate of their land against the cursed one. Two sides of the scale were in perfect balance & it all was shattered when the day met the night.

It's been several months since all was well again in Ninjago and Halloween is just around the corner for our heroes as the boys hold a scariest costume contest, and Misako tries to get Garmadon to go to a Halloween party with them, hosted by an unknown man who wishes to make the ninja the guests of honor.

When an age old terror is unleashed on the land who kidnaps the prince; Wu must leave the boys on their own to unlock their full powers as he goes to find the only man that can help him get Lloyd back. After all was said and done when the Final Battle was over, everyone retreated to be alone, leaving Mr and Mrs Garmadon all alone, and having to share room. After eight years of separation, you'd feel a little awkward too, right?
Two days after the Final Battle; the nine of the team are living in the eight room apartment until they can get their new ideas off the ground while Ninjago City accepts the help of Cyrus Borg. Loud alarm clocks, mean bets, flying pillows, & chocolate chip pancakes, even this is an average morning for ninja.
