This story is set sometime around late Series 8, before Martin has to go before the General Medical Council for the hearing about patient complaints. It takes place in an alternate timeline that follows my previous stories "Louisa Glasson and the Green Mermaid" and "Doc Martin: the Movie."

Louisa and James Henry take a holiday to visit her brother and are drawn into an adventure with him and his friends that will test the strength of Louisa's feelings for Martin. Set some months after S5E8 and before S6E1, with a special AU mystery guest appearance.

This is my first venture into fan fiction. Other authors have explored the Martin-Louisa relationship so well already but I just couldn't resist having some fun with Martin. So this is my take on S2E8, a day in the life of DM in four parts. Please be aware this is rated M, not because of the first chapter but later on.
